And the point is?

This blog is the preparation for an MA in either Fine Art or Textiles that I hope to begin next year.  I know that many courses now rely on students participating on blogs; consequently part of my preparation is to understand how to use this format for the best outcome.  I'm preparing a year in advance because I'm not sure I'm up to the standard required but I've looked at this year's graduate exhibition and think, as I've done every year from the past eight years - I could do that.  Yeh, but could I?  I can talk the talk but I need to walk the walk.  And if life has taught me one thing: it doesn't have to happen now.  So I shall enjoy the preparation, kind of playing at the experience and see how committed I really am.  I checked out a couple of graduate websites and see that I need to start with an artist's statement of intent.
